Lay on the Summer Designs

Even potato chip brands are going coastal!

Just in time for summer, Lay's Potato Chips will unveil limited time, summer-themed chip bag designs. We stumbled across these two in our local market. One features a couple relaxing on a catamaran possibly.  The other bag shows the same couple enjoying a relaxing summer moment on a hammock.  The designs are sure to add a little color and whimsy to your next beach party. 

As part of "Lay's Summer Days" campaign, the chip brand is also launching an interactive bag designer.  Fans can upload a photo of their favorite summertime experience with a caption.  A virtual version of a Lay's chip bag will appear featuring their photo on social media. The first 10,000 approved submissions will also get a real-life Lay's chip bag sent to consumers to tear open this summer.  For more information visit www.Lays.com.

Cioppino for the Spring

Springtime gives us so much to look forward to.  The promise of warmer days makes us joyful.  Crisp mornings and breezy evenings also remind us of a few chilly days with which we must still contend before summer is fully upon us.  Therefore, it is not only appropriate but absolutely necessary to have a bowl of soup for at least one weekly meal. Providenciales Takes Home Top Island Spot

Trip Advisor announced its annual Travelers' Choice "Top Island List" and Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos took home the number one spot. 

The rankings are based on both qualitative and quantitative user reviews which surveyed hotels, attractions and restaurants, among other things.  Travelers say the turquoise waters and natural, unspoiled surroundings make Providenciales their top spot.

 

Maui, Hawaii took the number two spot, followed by Roatan, Honduras in third, Santorini, Greece in fourth and Ko Tao, Thailand rounding out the list in fifth.
